一.考试总体概述:
本次考试难度水平适中,独立任务考察了常见的艺术和兴趣的重要性,以及独立思考,自己解决问题能力的考题。综合任务结构清晰,校园场景话题常见,学术话题深入浅出。
二.题目解析:
Task1:If your friend is studying in business school, but he likes art anddecides to drop out the business and go to other school to learnmusic and art, what’s your suggestion?
教师解析:如果你总结过兴趣的重要性,学习艺术的好处和重要性,相信这个题目并不是难题。当然从另一方面讲,全球经济发展也是不可阻挡的趋势,建议该同学继续从商,也是可以有充分理由来说明的。
Sample Answer:
Since interest is the best teacher, I suggest him to follow his own course to learn art instead of business. Obviously with the passion in art and music, my friend would have a higher motivation in studying, perform better in his major, and make his talent into a full display. Besides, being an artist in the future is beneficial for the whole society. Artists’works express and reflect the religious, political, and economical aspects of cultures, and bring inspiration to people. Hence I believe he will have a good career.
Task2:Do you prefer to face challenge by yourself or find someone elsefor help?
教师解析:非常传统的一个第二题,选自独自面对挑战,还是选择和朋友一起面对。选择找朋友帮忙,可以围绕互相学习,彼此间借鉴,减轻负担等来说明。选择自己独立解决,可以讲培养自我能力,喜欢独立思考等,另外现在信息发达,自己解决问题也不是难事儿。
Sample Answer:
I will definitely choose to face the challenge by myself, because the problem-solving process often leads me to the infinite inspiration and self-discovery.
Especially, as a student, I believe the self-centered learning is a good way to address my own interests and needs, and pushes me forward into increasingly higher levels of problem-solving ability. Besides, with the highly development of the information age, it’s becoming faster and more efficient to search for solutions of any aspects of problems on the internet. Sometimes I just need to click the mouse, the problem will be solved.
Task 3:

Definition Sentence: In a group, some weaker animal will make some signalsand do some behavior to show their weakness so as to avoid fighting with thestronger ones.
Listening:The professor uses wolves as an example. Wolves live in packs and they generally share food with each other. However, sometimes a stronger wolf would like to take the food from a weaker one.
In order to avoid being attacked, the weaker one would show behaviors such as lowering its head to the ground and flattening its furs. This shows the weaker ones would like to give up the food. Then the stronger ones would let them go and take its food without hurting it.
Task 5:
Problem:The girl likes a house, but there will be a buildingconstruction next door which last a whole years. It will affect herstudy since she prefers to study at home.
Solution 1:Take another available apartments which are quiet and but moreexpensive.
Solution 2: Change to spend most of her time in library, but it’s annoying totake all her stuff and laptop back and forth.

Listening:When a company wants to sell its products, in advertising, it needs to emphasize the differences of its own products from other companies’ products.
1. Emphasize its quality and why it is worth buying.

Example: a company which sells pasta sauce could stress that the sauce is spicier than others and contains special herbs.
