主体段一:历史在任何情况下都不应该别遗忘;

主体段二:历史是文科生的基础知识;

主体段三:历史对理科生同样重要;

结尾段:总结

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?

All the university students should be required to take history courses no matter what fields their study is.

As is vastly acknowledged, university plays a vital role in society. It is a special period of time before a young adult enters the society and finally turns himself into a qualified and responsible social member. With the goal of taking education to a new level, some people assume that college students should be required to take history classes no matter what field they study in. As far as I am concerned, this attempt might be reasonable.

History should be remembered in any circumstances because history can make one fully appreciate of the present. History is an essential part of human civilization, and it is generally agreed that historical facts can help people to predict the future as well as help people to avoid the same mistakes in the past. People who never look back into the past may not be able to move forward into a prosperous future. Every member of society should learn history, especially the history of one’s own country, and etch it deeply into one’s heart regardless of his age , his profession and his social position.

History is the fundamental knowledge to students who major in liberal arts. For instance, archaeological students would estimate the value of an object and determine the genuine of an antique only when they learn about the history of human beings. Sociological students could predict what will happen to the mankind in the future by researching what actually happened in the past, for history is an excellent indicator of the future. Furthermore, law students would realize the importance of developing fairer and more effective law system in the days to come. Also, learning about the history of different countries can greatly benefit those students who study in foreign languages and cultures. To illustrate , historical facts should be appreciated by students who devote their academic energy to liberal arts.

Learning history is a necessary part for students who study science. There are two main benefits for those students. Firstly, getting to know the stories of struggle lives of those great scientists and their great achievements can inspire students of science to strive for greater contributions to the world. Take my cousin as an example, he is very introvert and does not have a sociable character, so he was very self-abased before. However, after reading the biography of Albert Einstein, he finally gets his confidence back because he learned Einstein was also an introvert person. Secondly, learning about the numerous mistakes the scientists made and the experiences gained from them, students can become more conscious about their own future endeavors. History often repeats himself.

In conclusion, requiring college students to take history classes is a necessary way to prepare those students for a brighter future. No matter what academic subjects students are focused on, learning more about their past will help ensure a more promising future.

女教授进行了一一反驳:1. 如果放在火上加热,盘底会有blacking discoloration,然而盘底并没有这些痕迹;

                      2. 即使蒙上兽皮,敲出来的声音依然很难听,而且更好的材料available
