一.考试总体概述

这次考试延续了以往考试的难度，并没有做出难度的改变。其中Task1是09年考过的一道题目，我们在机经当中也可以经常见到，是很常见的关于 “书 ”的三选一问题。而Task2也是机经中的常见题型，所以独立口语的难度并不大。而综合口语题的Task3，4，5，6也都延续了以往考试的风格，并没有过多的变化，比起4月12日的口语考试来说，难度有所下降。

二. 题目解析

Task1

Which kind of book you do not like: mystery, science, and biography?

教师解析：本题是很常见的三选一问题，并且也是我们非常熟悉的 “ 图书 ”类的问题，所以我们在这个题上只需要选择三者当中最好说的那个去进行答题就可以。在没有话说的情况下，也可以使用与其余两者对比的这种方式进行答题，再加上我们的万用模版 “ 学生总是没时间，没钱 ”，在没时间的情况下，我们都会选择做最重要的事情，以这样一个思路去思考的话，你一定能够说够45s的时间。

Sample answer：

Personally, the type of book I do not like is mystery. There are two main reasons I can point out.

First of all, I can learn nothing meaningful from mystery. As a student I am, my life is kind of pretty busy in all aspects. I have to take at least 8 classes every day, using the time after school to finish tons of homework. So, my priority now is that I need to make the best use of time to gain the knowledge that can help me with my study. For example, I can get lots of background knowledge of physics and astronomy from those science books, and those knowledge can largely help me get a better understanding of those reading materials in TOEFL test.

Moreover, I am now lacking of interest to those mystery stories. I mean, I always can foretell the end of the story every time I read them, cuz I read those stories since I was a little kid at elementary school, but 10 years later since then, I am now studying in university, so mystery is no longer an option for me anymore.

Task2

Do you agree or disagree with the statement that talking face to face can make a better communication than sending email?

教师解析：这道题也是以前考过的一道老题目，两个角度都很好分析，重点其实是看你对哪个方向更有话说，面对面交流可以增进感情，可以看到别人的面部表情，更容易掌握和别人交流的内容。但是邮件和短信对于现代人来说是一种更加常用的通讯和交流工具，我们可以多朝便利的角度去考虑，尤其现在很多人办公都有很多的business trip或者是大家的时间总是很难约在一起，那么电子科技的无疑是解决问题的最佳方式。

Sample answer：

For me, I definitely disagree with the statement that talking face to face can make a better communication than sending email.

At first, it’s more convenient to convey your massage using an email. For example, I am pretty busy with a lot of stuff, like I have to prepare for my TOEFL test, I get a bunch of social activities and I also have to split some time to work on my school study, and so does my professor, my professor’s time is occupied a lot as well, so, it’s kinda pretty hard to make an appointment with him during his office hour and it could be much easier to just email him.

Furthermore, sometimes, it’s much easier to put things into words instead of talking to people directly. It can be a little bit awkward to say sorry to someone in person, it’s hard to express your feelings to someone special face to face, but things like that can be much easier to put into words and send to people using email.

So, I disagree with the statement.

Task3

Reading: There is a letter from student and student suggests that university should not serve junk food in the dining hall on campus anymore.

Reason1: it’s much healthier to eat nutritious food, like vegetable and fruit.

Reason2: it can help students save a lot of money, cuz they always like to buy junk food after they are already full.

Listening: the woman disagrees with this idea.

Reason1: students are already nutritious enough and buying junk food occasionally will not hurt their health.

Reason2: junk food is necessary, especially after get those paper works done, and an ice-cream can definitely make life better.

Task4:

Reading: rational ignorance

Definition: when people make less essential purchase, they are not willing to find information about the product; this is because the fact that they believe it is not worth doing it.

Listening: professor once bought a car, and he did a lot of research about the car, cuz it will cost him a huge amount of money. However, it’s different when he bought battery in another shop, the professor didn’t deal with it carefully and the brand and the lasting time are different. The professor just grabbed it and went away.

Task5:

Problem: the woman has a problem about spring concert. The concert will be held at afternoon, but it might be rain based on the weather forecast.

Solution1: they can move the concert to the auditorium, but that will be less fun.

Solution2: they can change the schedule to Sunday, but she cannot guarantee that whether people will attend the concert or not, they always meet friends and families on weekends.

Task6:

Maze experiment

Definition: mother animals improve their mental competence when they have baby.

Theory: there are two groups of rats, the mother rats and normal rats without baby are put in one end of the maze with food in the other side, in order to find the food, they have to explore the maze.

三.备考策略：

托福口语考试没有捷径，需要大家每天勤练习，最好的方式就是先自己录音，再根据自己的录音自己有意向性的提高，因为如果你不听自己的录音，你永远不知道自己的口语到底有多烂。Task1，2建议大家在说的时候尽量使用合适的语速，有起伏的语调，这样自然的方式，更容易帮助大家得分。而Task3，4，5，6依旧是需要大家具备看，听，说的能力这样才有可能把这4个题解决。所以，建议大家多多提升自己的基本功，托福考试有一定的技巧，但多数还是语言能力的体现。
